Installation

Stable release

To install roman_snpit_utils, run this command in your terminal:

$ pip install snpit_utils

This is the preferred method to install snpit_utils, as it will always install the most recent stable release.

If you don’t have pip installed, this Python installation guide can guide you through the process.

From sources

The sources for snpit_utils can be downloaded from the Github repo.

You can either clone the public repository:

$ git clone git@github.com:Roman-Supernova-PIT/snpit_utils.git

Or download the tarball:

$ curl -OJL https://github.com/Roman-Supernova-PIT/snpit_utils/tarball/master

Once you have a copy of the source, you can install it with:

$ pip install .

If you would like to do an editable install:

$ pip install -e .
$ pip install -e .[docs]  # install document build packages during install
